How to Get to Camp:

This is our camp address: 19 Fire Route 69, Lakehurst, ON, K0L 2J0.

Keeping in Touch with Your Child While at Camp:

You can stay in touch with your child while at camp by sending us an e-mail to: contact@tropinka.ca We will print and pass on your e-mail to the child. Given that children are with their groups at all times and they are not supposed to be apart from their group at any point – there is no opportunity for campers to use the camp phone to contact their parents.
If you give a cell phone to your child – they will be able to call you at night from their cabin, after 10:00 pm when they are in the cabin with their group. We do not recommend our campers to carry their cell phones with them throughout the day.

Staying in between the Two Sessions:

If your child is attending a senior childrens camp and sign up for two weeks, they can stay in between the two sessions and they will be fed and looked after. No swimming will take place on Saturday and Sunday without parent supervision because our lifeguards will be off duty on the weekend. Parents cannot stay overnight at the camp.

Parent Meeting:

We will have a parent information meeting on Sunday, July 21 at 2:00 pm at Light to the World Church, 885 Wilson Ave, Toronto, ON M3K 1E6. You can come and ask questions and receive further clarification and explanation of what to expect at camp. This meeting is not mandatory and all mandatory information will be provided by e-mail.

Camp Start and End Times:

All Childrens camp Sessions start on Sunday at 4:00 pm and end on Saturday at 12:00 pm. There is a one hour window to register your child at the start of each session between 4:00 pm and 5:00 pm. Please make sure you come no later than 12:00 pm to pick up your child. If your child is staying at camp for more than one session – we recommend you visit them and bring them fresh clean clothes as we will not have laundry on site.
We will have a BBQ for our parents in between the two senior sessions on Saturday Aug. 10 at 12:00 pm. Please come on time to enjoy the BBQ together and witness the awards ceremony for some of our campers.

Camp Bus:

We will have a camp bus taking children to camp at the beginning of the first senior camp session on Aug. 4 and at the end of the senior second session back to Toronto on Aug. 17. For more information about the bus to camp please visit
