Experience an enthusiastic welcome, a spirit of adventure and our friendly staff team!
Tropinka Camp on Pigeon Lake
Our camp territory is well built to house large camp groups up to 150 people (campers and staff included). All children sleep indoors, in small cabins with up to 6 children and one councilor per cabin. We have a large indoor dining hall, a fully equipped kitchen, an indoor washroom and private showers.
Pigeon Lake
The total property size for our children’s camp in Pigeon Lake is over 180 acres with over a 1000 linear feet of waterfront on Pigeon Lake with a private sandy beach.
Tropinka Buildings
For our daily activities we have two buildings for assemblies and arts and crafts. Our camp office and our medical office are located directly across from our dining hall building.
Undisturbed Nature
Directly across from our camp beach on Pigeon Lake there is a large island called “Big (Boyd/Chiminis) Island”. This island is 1085 acres in size and it is the larges undeveloped island in the Kawarthas. This Island belongs to the Kawartha Land Trust which operates many trails on this island and allows visitors for day trips. It takes about 15-20 minutes to get to this island by canoe and our “survivor trips” which take place every Wednesday are an all time favorite. To learn more about the Island that all children will get to visit and explore during their stay at camp please visit:
